As the sun is setting across this country field in West Virginia, the sunlight brings the storm clouds to life. This is one of my favorite pictures as it has many areas of interest. The sky displays heavenly clouds, the barns and farm buildings add an area of wonder and intrigue, while the flowers and field give a feeling of peace and comfort. Autumn Foliage surrounds these beautiful waterfalls during a fall evening sunset sky. Blackwater falls are some of the most beautiful waterfalls in all of West Virginia. the river is known and named for the dark colored water stained from minerals in the river sediment.

If you look closely you can see the country road winding across the mountain side through the vibrant fall foliage. In the horizon the sun is setting in a colorful autumn sky.

As a storm cloud approaches the sun tries to shine through behind the autumn trees that cover this mountainside. The cloudy autumn sky filters the light casting a redish autumn hue upon the colorful leaves.

Lightning crashes across the sky in Washington DC during the night. Taken around 10 pm after a day of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC.

A coyote looking up into the sky. Certainly something has his attention causing him to look up into the sky like this. Similarly I took a picture of a wolf a few years earlier that looked up into the sky in the same way but when laying down. I found out just this year that this same wolf had died. There is no doubt in my mind that these wild animals know who their creator is.
