Who says that fall is for leaves only? I found this beautiful field of fall wild flowers growing in early October at the beginning of the fall foliage season. This was taken on a rainy day which gives perfect lighting.

Just above Harmon West Virginia we find this quaint mountain village scene. In the peak of the fall foliage season the bright red colors throughout this valley seem to glow in the late evening sun.

A Colorful Spring Forest Waterfall on an early spring season day. This is called dark hollow waterfalls and is just off skyline drive near Shenandoah Virginia. This is a great place to visit and I recommend hiking the waterfalls.

Wonderful Creek Water Blur at the Twin Waterfalls in West Virginia. This is a rushing creek during the spring rain season.

Rocks in the Blackwater River at Douglas Waterfalls during the season for autumn foliage. This is the first time I have been this far below the falls. The first time I was here I took pictures closer up to the waterfalls and the composition was not as structured as this. Although we are running out of light, this helps for long exposures without using a filter, so the images are sharper. I could set here all day if I had the time. The sounds of the water rushing by are very relaxing.
