Wv Heavenly Sunset Farm Scene

As the sun is setting across this country field in West Virginia, the sunlight brings the storm clouds to life. This is one of my favorite pictures as it has many areas of interest. The sky displays heavenly clouds, the barns and farm buildings add an area of wonder and intrigue, while the flowers and field give a feeling of peace and comfort. Fiery Autumn Waterfall

This is a revisit to a photo scene that was discovered last autumn. It was simply by mistake that I discovered the swirling leaves and reminded me of a blazing fire. This year it began raining while I was taking many exposures of this scene. Most of the images turned out useless, this was the best I could get from them. Maybe I will get the perfect image of the fiery waterfalls next year.

Autumn Country Barn

A rural country autumn barn in West Virginia surrounded by the wonderful colors of the fall foliage. This scene makes me wonder of the years gone by when a country farmer worked out of this barn and the years it has provided shelter for his farming needs. It will not be much longer and all of the remnants of summer will be gone and winter will be knocking at our door.

Autumn Forest Creek Foliage

The cool autumn water rushes through this creek in the middle of a West Virginia forest. This water is leading to the blackwater river and creates a spectacular scene as it passes through the colorful autumn foliage.

Autumn Mountain Village Scene

Just above Harmon West Virginia we find this quaint mountain village scene. In the peak of the fall foliage season the bright red colors throughout this valley seem to glow in the late evening sun.

Spring Forest Creek

A pretty forest creek scene in early spring. This nature picture was taken in the Shenandoah mountains just off of skyline drive. A nice place to get away and enjoy the sites of the forest.

Winter Creek Waterfall Landscape Scene

Water rushes down this creek toward the New River Gorge in West Virginia during a winter snow storm. in the distance a beautiful frozen waterfall scene. This unique and hidden waterfall is a beautiful place to see the wonders of the beautiful snow storm.

Autumn Trees Leaves Foliage Sunset

The sun is setting through the autumn trees and leaves in this beautiful foliage sunset scene. My son and I have been squirrel hunting all afternoon and I even laid down at the edge of the field to take a nap. After a while it started getting a little cooler since the sun was setting behind the trees and hills and the temperature dropped. My son came walking back and we heard something moving over the hillside and walked over to the edge of the treeline and this is what I saw. My thoughts quickly changed from hunting to photography as I grabbed my camera to get this picture.

Country Roads Take me Home

As we tarry along this country road the song comes to mind ”Country Roads Take me Home”. Here we are at a country road just below Spruce Knob Mountain. We have stayed the night up on the mountain so that we could get some early morning sunrise pictures. I had not counted on getting a beautiful autumn winding road country scene like this.
