Blue Ridge Waterfall

During the rain showers we gathered under the canopy of trees so that I could take some pictures. These falls are so high that I could barely fit them into the frame. I am shooting this at 28mm which is pretty wide. These waterfalls are 150 feet high and are fed from a mountain spring just above us on the mountain ridge. That is why they are called falling springs waterfalls.

Bee Flower Macro

Bee Flower Macro Image. A sharp and detailed spring flower picture of a bee on some pretty little flowers. This was taken with a 70-300mm zoom macro lens while setting in a small group of flowers. There were bees buzzing all around while I took these pictures.

Beautiful Pink Flower

This beautiful pink flower is one of my favorite pictures. The composition of this turned out just right from this perspective and with a little effort the contrast of the background helps the focus and pink color of the flower to become vivid and alive.

Ferocious Wild Animal Fisher Teeth Snow

A Ferocious Wild Animal a Fisher showing teeth in the winter snow. If you browse the other pictures of this fisher he looks very cute and fluffy but beware looks can be deceiving. These animals are predators and have large teeth meant for tearing flesh and breaking bones. The remind me of a badger or a small wolverine.
