Autumn Lake Morning Foliage

In the early morning the lighting is perfect for photography not too bright and not too dim. The colors are vibrant in this colorful late autumn scene at a local lake. It is quiet and peaceful as I survey the landscape for scenery to frame and capture. One thing I try for with a scene like this is to wait until the water is calm to give a peaceful reflection of the colorful foliage.

Scenic Winter Waterfall Soft Snow

Soft accents during a heavy wet winter snow storm give a surreal effect to this scenic waterfall picture. Here, I am standing on the side of a steep cliff, hill in order to capture this image. If you notice the waterfalls keep going and going at the top of the rocks. This is a beautiful and peaceful area.

Wildlife Center Bridge Snowy Pine Tree

Walking in a winter wonderland around the West Virginia wildlife center. My son and I are walking around taking pictures as the snow pours throughout the day. The scenery is so beautiful and peaceful as we look across this foot bridge along the trail at the wildlife center. What a great place to visit and see the animals that are native to West Virginia.

Beautiful Country Church in Fall

Beautiful Country Church in the Fall. I love the Bell tower on this church. This was such a pretty and peaceful place I think one car drove by in the whole time I was here.
