This is a revisit to a photo scene that was discovered last autumn. It was simply by mistake that I discovered the swirling leaves and reminded me of a blazing fire. This year it began raining while I was taking many exposures of this scene. Most of the images turned out useless, this was the best I could get from them. Maybe I will get the perfect image of the fiery waterfalls next year.

Now most of the leaves have fallen from the trees, and although there are not many colorful scenes in the trees, there are still beautiful colors found in and on top of the water.

The upper White Oak Canyon waterfalls. Looks like we are a little past peak foliage time or rather that the leaves have fallen due to the wind here at the top of the canyon. Down inside the canyon where the winds cannot blow as hard, there is much more fall foliage. Although there is much surrounding color in this waterfall picture taken from the cliffs across from the waterfalls at around 100 feet high.

Amazing what you can do by gathering leaves and flowers from around your neighborhood. This is a collage of fall foliage leaves and various bushes that grow in the autumn season, combined with flowers that are blooming in late summer. If you look there is beauty all around we just need to simply look for the beautiful things of autumn.

A pretty creek stream that cascades down a mountain in the Shenandoah Forest. The water pours through these rocks and crevasses as it is rushing to the bottom of the mountain. This was taken in early spring prior to greenery and leaves coming upon the trees.

An amazing daisy flower with bright colored orange leaves and a yellowish center. Viewed on black accents the colors and clarity of this flower picture. Just in time for spring this flower background makes a perfect wallpaper for your computer desktop.

Top Waterfall Autumn Rocks Leaves. Here I am standing at the edge of the rushing water. If you see this on the video section of our website you will hear how loud this water is as it rushes by me. This is a truly beautiful site, the sun is setting and we have precious minutes before it gets dark. We don’t want to get stuck out here without a flashlight.

The sun is setting through the autumn trees and leaves in this beautiful foliage sunset scene. My son and I have been squirrel hunting all afternoon and I even laid down at the edge of the field to take a nap. After a while it started getting a little cooler since the sun was setting behind the trees and hills and the temperature dropped. My son came walking back and we heard something moving over the hillside and walked over to the edge of the treeline and this is what I saw. My thoughts quickly changed from hunting to photography as I grabbed my camera to get this picture.
