High atop Spruce Knob the highest point in West Virginia during an early morning sunrise. This is one of the most beautiful times of the year when the colors of the sky show many variations in tint and hue. This is due to the angle of the sunlight entering the earths atmosphere. There is nothing like watching the sun rise from up on this mountain. The view is spectacular.

Glade Creek Grist Mill Babcock State Park West Virginia. I waited for around 3 or 4 hours to get this shot. This was taken without a filter for the red hue. This is the actual fall tint from the sun setting behind the clouds and mountain. Notice the reflection on the water.
