This snow covered wildcat is sleeping under a blanket of snow. This bobcat has a thick coat of fur to help keep it warm. It does not want to even stir from its cozy little hole where it is sleeping the winter away.

An older bobcat in the snow. The snow has covered this bobcat’s back after a heavy downpour of snow in the mountains. This is an older bobcat and is not nearly as on edge as the other bobcats in this area. This wildcat’s fur is very thick to keep it warm through the cold winter months.

Black Bears sleeping next to a tree in a winter snow storm. They are covered with snow and realize that it is better to keep close in order to stay the warmest. These bears have thick coats of fur and a lot of fat to help keep them warm also through harsh cold winter.

One of my favorite shots of a bobcat coming out from under this pine tree. This bobcat resembles a Lynx cat with gray and white colors and the snowy background. You should check out the video of this wild cat climbing a tree. These cats are really beautiful especially with this thick winter coat of fur.

Coyote in the winter snow with a bushy tail in the background. This fella was very restless for some reason not for sure why. His winter coat of fur was very thick and he certainly must be warm under all of this fur. This kind of canine reminds me of a fox and a wolf combined.

A unique wildlife scene as we see two bobcats looking out from a den toward me. This looks like it could be a male bobcat and a female bobcat just by their sizes. The male bobcat (which is larger) seems to resemble a Lynx cat because of his gray and white fur colors. Certainly this thick coat of fur keeps them warm.
