A large yellow flower up close. This beautiful yellow flower is in full bloom in the early summer. Flower like this are seen in many flower gardens and landscapes this time of year.

Spring in WV at the Glade Creek Gristmill in Babcock State Park, WV. The Spring Rhododendron Flowers are in full bloom. I took this image at a high aperture in order to get everything as sharp as possible with one image.

Rhododendron flowers in full bloom along side Glade creek at the Grist Mill in West Virginia. The Rhododendron is West Virginia’s state flower and only blooms for a few short weeks in the springtime. Many come to the Grist mill in the fall to see the colors; however there are beautiful spring rhododendrons early in the year to see as well.

Looking through the blossoms of a cherry tree in full bloom at Arlington Cemetery, we can see the numerous graves of soldiers who have given their lives for our Freedom. “Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” Our Lord Jesus gave his life that we may be free from sin and shame. These men and women gave their lives that we could live free in America, blessed time and again by the grace of Almighty God.

A Flowering Magnolia Tree in full bloom at Arlington National Cemetery. Although it is sad and grieves many hearts that so many brave men and women have given their lives for our freedom, nevertheless it is a beautiful sight to see. America – “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave!”

The Cherry Trees are in full bloom in Washington DC. The Thomas Jefferson memorial is in the distance across the tidal basin. If you look closely there are a lot of people on the steps of the memorial. We are actually surrounded by people as I take this picture. Getting an opportunity to take a picture with the cherry trees in this frame is tough.

Beautiful Apple Tree Blossoms in full bloom during the spring flowering  season. These flowers smell so good and are certain to turn into wonderful apples later in the season.
