The Edge of the Falls

Looking over the edge of the waterfall. This is an interesting perspective and the wavy flowing stream makes some neat patterns in a long exposure photo. In a couple more months these mountain laurel will be covered with beautiful flowers for about 1 week.

Bobcat Snow Covered

An older bobcat in the snow. The snow has covered this bobcat’s back after a heavy downpour of snow in the mountains. This is an older bobcat and is not nearly as on edge as the other bobcats in this area. This wildcat’s fur is very thick to keep it warm through the cold winter months.

This is a truly beautiful site, the sun is setting and we have precious minutes before it gets dark. We don’t want to get stuck out here without a flashlight.
