In the middle of a field of purple cone flowers this bee seems to be in paradise. It is surrounded by these beautiful flowers which is a feast of nectar for this bumble bee. This would make a nice flower background for your desktop PC.

A buzzing little bee inside of many spring flowers on a bright sunny day. There are many bees flying around in these flowers gathering nectar for honey and this presents many opportunities for taking some great spring bee and flower pictures.

Bee Flower Macro Image. A sharp and detailed spring flower picture of a bee on some pretty little flowers. This was taken with a 70-300mm zoom macro lens while setting in a small group of flowers. There were bees buzzing all around while I took these pictures.

Macro Photography picture of a bee insect gathering nectar from flowers in the spring time. I did not crop this image because I wanted to leave it large as possible for any customization that our visitors may need. The details are pretty sharp in this picture considering I used my Quantaray 70-300mm zoom lens which is kind of a cheap leans but it was the best I had for the job at the time. Certainly this would make a good background for a spring themed desktop or website.

A bee gathering nectar in the springtime. This macro photo allows you to see the bee gathering the nectar from the flower. Amazing how efficient these little creatures are at producing honey. Hard to conceive that we consume honey made from such small workers. These flowers must be a good producer of nectar because there are bees all around.

Summer Bee Pollen Pink Mountain Laurel

If you look close enough you will see that there is a small spider in this photo. I did not notice it until I was processing in it in PSE. I love these mountain wildflowers. These are actually mountain laurel and this was in the Dolly Sods Wilderness area. I love taking bee and spider macro shots. One day I will be able to take even better images with a higher quality lens but for now this is the best I can do. I really enjoyed taking these as I stood for hours on end watching these bees and butterflies.
