Spring Daisy Fleabane

Daisy fleabane flowers found beside a country road in the springtime. These little flowers are found all over the countryside and if a little time is taken can make a beautiful floral photography composition. The flowers have a purple pinkish tint when they first emerge, but then turn white once open.

America must never forget the price which was paid for our freedom. Our liberty must never be taken for granted but cherished and those memorialized who have sacrificed their lives.

A bitter sweet site across the many beautiful graves at Arlington National Cemetery. The new life of the spring trees reminds us that one day the dead in Christ will rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them, to meet the Lord in the air!

Marsh Marigold

A marsh marigold found in the cranberry glades wilderness in West Virginia. These little flowers love wet places and are prolific in the marshy wetlands of the cranberry glades botanical area. These are among the many flowers found in this unique area of the Monongahela forest.

Deep Purple Trillium

A beautiful forest flower called a Trillium Erectum. This one in particular is deep purple and has a large leaf vegetation supporting the flower underneath. Unlike the other white and pink trillium flowers. This flower picture was tough because it was taken at an aperture of F/22 and the wind kept blowing, so I needed to wait until it was still enough to get a .7 second exposure at f/22 in order to gain the flowers details.

Daisy Fleabane

Daisy (Fleabane) flowers that grow all over the forests in early may. These flowers start out having a purple hue when they are first opening. Then the flowers open into a yellow and white display very similar to a traditional daisy.

Trillium Forest Flower

A group of pretty forest flowers called Trillium in the mountains on a rainy spring day. The overcast lighting gives a good opportunity for photography. Although with the wind blowing I must be patient to get a good clear shot of these flowers.

Waterfalls Picture

A waterfalls picture of my favorite waterfalls to photograph. The water looks like it is moving as it falls over the rocks above the turning pool of water below. The long exposure photography makes the water seem as if it is in motion.

Twin Falls Creek

Water rushes through the rocks in the Twin Waterfalls Creek that Flows by, it is heading for a 30 feet drop at one of the twin falls.

Spring Forest Waterfall Rocks

A Colorful Spring Forest Waterfall on an early spring season day. This is called dark hollow waterfalls and is just off skyline drive near Shenandoah Virginia. This is a great place to visit and I recommend hiking the waterfalls.
