Hiking down to some waterfalls, along the way we see Catawba Rhododendron flowers that line the trail. These flowers make the trail seem like a paradise in the early morning dew before the sun rises. Forest Waterfall Icy Ravine

During a winter snow storm we hiked down into the New River Gorge. All along the mountains sides just above the New River are creeks and runs that pour down these mountain sides. One of these creeks is Keenys Creek. This is one of the most scenic and unknown areas of the New River, and the waterfalls along this creek are astounding. This particular waterfall cannot even be seen from the ridge top above but you must climb down into the ravine. This is one of our favorites.
