
No wonder these are called the Blue Ridge Mountains. Early in the morning from one of the highest peaks this picture was taken in subdued sunlight thanks to the overcast clouds. This reminded me of our the song AMERICA – “O beautiful for spacious skies,: For amber waves of grain,: For purple mountain majesties: Above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed His grace on thee”
