A Little White Country Church in the Winter Snow with King James Bible Scripture.

Along a country road in the mountains of West Virginia a small country church is found along side a gentle flowing creek. Just after a winter snow storm the white winter background enhances the photo composition of this old fashioned pristine gospel church.

Deep in a forest ravine near the Blackwater River in West Virginia. The water is ice cold and only flowing because of the constant motion. The temperatures are in the single digits but the ice and winter snow make the scenery alive in the dead of winter.

A small country barn is weathered and worn, yet still standing and apparently being used. As you can see the winter snow is falling heavily this afternoon in the mountains of West Virginia.

Who hath despised the day of small things? Little community churches like this are the heartbeat of God. Although this little white country church only has services once per week the foundation upon which a small church like this is built is everlasting. Sun beams shine down as a blessing upon this little bethel, on a snowy winter afternoon.

An amazing wintry waterfall scene at Elakala waterfalls. This is the first time I have been here in the winter time. It is bitterly cold around 5 degrees. Every time I touch the metal on my tripod my hand sticks to it instantly. Although this shot is a little blurry from the blowing snow it still turned out rather well I think. Just the scene itself displays the bitter sweet beauty of the Lord’s creation even in the winter.

A large otter is coming out of his den in the winter snow. typically otters stay in their den most of the time throughout winter, unless they are disturbed or need food. I was blessed to be able to see this large otter out of his den this winter day.

Large Buffalo feeding on some hay in the middle of winter. The American Indian lived from the meat of buffalo throughout the winter. Their hide also gave them clothing many other useful things. These are large animals and one should not get to close, just as a large bull.
