Along the Clifton Gorge trail you can find the amphitheater waterfalls. It was a pleasant surprise for us to find these as we did not realize they were even here. As we rounded one of the corners we heard the falls above the sound of the rushing gorge water.

Fallsville Ohio Waterfalls. Beautiful waterfalls found in the Fallsville Wildlife Management area. There were many rain storms this day some which were significant. Pretty tough to take a decent picture in the pouring rain, but thankfully the Lord gave us a break in order to get some nice pictures of this waterfall.

Fallsville Waterfalls in the Fallsville Wildlife Area. These are beautiful waterfalls that are secluded in a remote area of southern Ohio. Everything has been washed clean from a recent thunderstorm.

This is at the amazing Crabtree Falls, NC. We made it to these wonderful waterfalls later in the evening after a full day of hiking. It is a little bit of a hike down a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain trail. Fortunately it was just my boys and I for around an hour getting various perspectives of the waterfalls, so it was very peaceful. I literally stood in the water to get this perspective. I wanted it to seem as if the water would flow from the bottom of the picture.

One of the most scenic waterfalls found along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. The Crabtree Falls are a beautiful sight to behold after a moderate hike down the hiking trail to see these picturesque waterfalls. You may be able to tell that the day light was growing dim in the evening hours when we took this picture. This made the long exposure optimal.

After a two mile hike through some of the most beautiful autumn scenery I have ever seen, we arrived at the lower cascade falls. These waterfalls are a magnificent site and as you can see offer a wonderful swimming hole at the below.

Magnificent waterfalls deep in the forest on a beautiful autumn evening. This trilogy of waterfalls is just a small series of the entire system of waterfalls that cascade down this massive gorge that descends down the Shenandoah forest mountainside.

The beautiful clear water from these mountain stream waterfalls allows the rocks to be seen underneath the surface. The gorgeous landscape scenery all around thrills the hearts of the hikers and fall foliage sight seers passing by these waterfalls.

Late in the evening and with several miles to go uphill from the White Oak Gorge we are enjoying the beauty of this area. The water is wonderfully clear and the sounds of the waterfalls are very tranquil. Combine this with the surrounding fall foliage and landscape this is a literal paradise.
