Field of SonFlowers found near Yellow Springs, Ohio on our way to visit and hike Clifton Gorge. Notice the busy bumble bees. This is an HDR composite image taken with separate depth of field or focus. One for the background and the other for the sonflower in the front. Isn’t the Lord and amazing artist, He loves flowers and decorates the earth with them allowing us to see and experience such beauty.

A very small spider hiding on these flowers caught my eye as we were walking through the woods. If you look closely you will see it has 4 eyes on top and I would imagine 4 eyes on the bottom.

These little flowers are called four o’clocks. They are fairly small little flowers yet they look very life size in this picture. This is actually one exposure of the foreground flower and then another exposure of the background flower combined into one image. I hope you like it.

These are some flowers I planted last year, just because they were on sale, and I do not even remember what they are called. They have large clover like leaves and these little spring flowers have a very fragrant smell. For now I am going to call them a clover rose.

Beautiful flowers in a field during early autumn. Before the hard winter frosts come, many vibrant flowers can be found in early autumn. Such as these flowers found in a local field.

As the sun is setting across this country field in West Virginia, the sunlight brings the storm clouds to life. This is one of my favorite pictures as it has many areas of interest. The sky displays heavenly clouds, the barns and farm buildings add an area of wonder and intrigue, while the flowers and field give a feeling of peace and comfort. Before the heavy frost of the autumn season these flowers are flourishing in this colorful floral field. Amazing how the flowers abound up until the last moments of moderate temperatures. Not soon after the first cold frost these flowers are gone. One of the reasons I love photography, as it preserves moments in time.

Amazing what you can do by gathering leaves and flowers from around your neighborhood. This is a collage of fall foliage leaves and various bushes that grow in the autumn season, combined with flowers that are blooming in late summer. If you look there is beauty all around we just need to simply look for the beautiful things of autumn.
