Front filter size is 62mm for attaching other accessories.
PLEASE NOTE: Your lens front filter size MUST be 52mm (although "stepping rings" can be used to mount to other filter sizes).

Macro Mode is accomplished by unscrewing the front lens assembly and using only the section labeled MACRO with your existing lens.
