Learn wildlife photography at Alabama Nature Center - ANC
Bring your digital camera and learn tips and techniques used in wildlife and outdoor photography Saturday at the at the Lanark Pavilion at the Alabama Nature Center (ANC) in Millbrook. The “Wildlife and Photography” seminars are sponsored by the Alabama Wildlife Federation (AWF) and presented by wildlife photographer Quincey Banks. All seminars are free with ANC admission.
Banks will discuss choosing equipment, composition, the importance of lighting and timing, and more. The Wildlife Photography Field Study will include a trail excursion where participants will practice what they’ve learned on live subjects such as trained raptors and pointing dogs. For an agenda of classes, go to www.alabamawildlife.org, click on “Outdoor Photography Weekend” and download the schedule for the day.
Banks, a native of Barbour County, has a great love and respect for the outdoors, has photographed wildlife and natural things for more than 10 years and has had his photographs published all over the state.
