‘Art of Photographing Nature’ with Gary Stanley
Swampscott - Nationally known nature, landscape and wildlife photographer Gary Stanley of Light-Chasers, will be showing his work and sharing ways to improve outdoor photography techniques at a free presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, in the Phillips Library Auditorium of the Peabody Essex Museum.
The evening will include a multimedia presentation featuring photographs Stanley, a Swampscott resident, has taken across the United States over the past 25 years.
Stanley gives lectures, workshops and seminars all over the United States. His passion is in the thrill of chasing light in order to capture an image that moves one’s soul. Stanley’s work has been published in Outdoor Photographer, Popular Photography and American Photographer, and he is the author of the new book “Image Preparation: The Key to Success!”
