As the snow storm crosses the continental divide most of the energy and snow is lost on the other side of the mountain range. This farm on the eastern side of the divide is spared from the downpour of snow, and the splendorous Heavenly rays shine their glory upon the farmers homestead below.

As the sun is setting across this country field in West Virginia, the sunlight brings the storm clouds to life. This is one of my favorite pictures as it has many areas of interest. The sky displays heavenly clouds, the barns and farm buildings add an area of wonder and intrigue, while the flowers and field give a feeling of peace and comfort. Heavenly Snow Clouds powder the Shenandoah Mountains with snow like sugar. God asked Job: Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail? In every snow flake there is a different pattern. It is amazing that the Lord knows every pattern of every snow flake that has ever fallen.
