Grandfather Mountain Summit Clouds
At over 1 mile high on Grandfather Mountain, the clouds float past the top of this mountain. The scenery up here is amazing and there are views in almost every direction. There is a trail that leads to the peak of this mountain top. I imagine the view is even more beautiful up there.

Shenandoah Valley View
Looking across the high Shenandoah Mountains from Skyline drive. It is easy to see why this is called skyline drive. Before the leaves come upon the trees the view is much more open and clear. We can see nearly 60 or 70 miles from up here.
