How to be Saved
When through the woods and forest glades I wander, I hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze;
Then sings my soul, my savior GOD to Thee, How great thou art!

Hills_Creek_Below_waterfall.JPG (386503 bytes)
This is one of my favorite waterfalls. This is below a 65 foot high waterfall at the falls of hills creek. Me and my son climbed down here to get this shot. It was not an easy climb either, but nonetheless it was fun. Thos rocks must have fallen some time ago. I sure would not want to be down here when they fall! Some of those are huge. Waterfall Pictures from the Hills of Falls Creek Monongahela Forest

This is another shot of the same waterfall. As you can see it is the fall season and that is when this waterfall looks best. This is a vertical shot. the log was too heavy to move so I took the shot anyway just as it is. You know that's how Christ accepts us? Just as you are. He wants you to be saved just as you are!

This is one of the most picturesque shots of the fall as you climb back up the stairs of the boardwalk. This shot is just right because there are some leaves on the trees to add color to the waterfall picture. This waterfall is particularly colorful when the falls leaves are at the height of color.

This is a shot of the creek above the last waterfall. I like to get shots of all these little mini waterfalls as the water rushes down the creek bed. This water is so clear it makes you want to take a drink of it. This shot is also in the fall. The mountain laurel in the background adds a touch of green to the scenery.

This is the second waterfall at the falls of hills creek. This waterfall is 45 feet high. It is very rugged and bold in person. A photograph really does not do it justice. It looks smaller than it really is in the photo. This waterfall picture was also taken in the fall season.

Several small waterfalls are scattered throughout this waterfall picture. This is just above the last waterfall that is 65 feet high. Again this is a beautiful waterfall creek scene taken in the fall time of year.

A beautiful waterfall picture that is just above the 65 foot waterfall, at the falls of hills creek. Some people would not dare to walk out here, when you turn directly around you are at the brink of the 65 foot high waterfall.

The most beautiful waterfalls that I have ever seen are the Elakala falls in the Blackwater Falls state park in West Virginia. There are a series of four waterfalls as this creek cascades down the mountainside into the black water canyon.

This is still the first waterfall at Elakala falls in the Blackwater Falls state park. This shot was taken in Spring and shows some of the subsequent rapids and smaller waterfalls below. This is one of my favorite waterfall
pictures.

This picture makes a great waterfall background for your PC. The water looks like it is going to spill out onto your desk! This is also the first waterfall at the Elakala falls at Blackwater falls state park.

The next waterfall just below waterfall number one is this little waterfall beauty. This fall is just about 20 feet high but nonetheless it is a beautiful waterfall picture. I use this often for a waterfall background on my PC.

Now we are at the first waterfall at Elakala falls. This waterfall picture was taken after a hard rain so you can see the water is up much higher. I took this shot at about 7:45 am while the family was still sleeping back at the lodge.
