There are so many of these throughout the mountainous areas of West Virginia. It is sad when we see them closed down. It looks like this one is well kept. These reminded me of Mount Calvary and the Price that Christ Jesus paid for me. Even though I just like all others was a sinner and deserved a judgment of hell and fire. My fear is that it will be torn down before too long. Little old churches like this are few and far between and will soon be a thing of the past. I love the Scripture in the Book of Jeremiah 6:16 "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls."

This shot was taken on the road out to Dolly Sods. There are trees all around and it is really nice and shady in this area.	Click the image for Free Wallpaper or Free Background This is an old homestead that is below Seneca Rocks area. It is really well kept and they allow you to look inside of it, through the windows. They may even give tours, but I am not certain.

Me and my son walked in and talked with the Lord for some time. This church is surrounded by a logging project. I am not sure if it is being used as a church or if it was just fixed up. This is something that we all should take a lesson from. This was inside of the old abandoned Methodist church.
