Autumn Flower Field Tall Pink Flower

In late autumn this flower in this field id in full bloom. It is certainly a blessing to be able to stand in the middle of all these wonderful flowers and capture them in a photo. It is actually raining this evening after work and I have a plastic rain coat on my camera as the wind and rain is blowing. Yet there are moments when all is calm and I can capture a few quick shots.

Autumn Lake Morning Foliage

In the early morning the lighting is perfect for photography not too bright and not too dim. The colors are vibrant in this colorful late autumn scene at a local lake. It is quiet and peaceful as I survey the landscape for scenery to frame and capture. One thing I try for with a scene like this is to wait until the water is calm to give a peaceful reflection of the colorful foliage.

Otter Sliding Look Up

An otter sliding in the snow and then looking up in my direction. These animals are really amazingly playful but one should not forget that they are carnivores and this one in particular is about 40 inches long. They certainly would have large teeth, though not aggressive.

Coyote Face Tongue

A close up wildlife shot of a coyote in the winter snow. His tongue is sticking out a little bit. He has a thick winter coat of fur certainly to keep him warm through these cold winter temperatures.
