Fisher Animal Snow Storm

Fisher Predator in the snow storm. Though this animal may look cute and cuddly, he is far from lovable. These animals have large sharp teeth for tearing meat. You would not want him nibbling on your hand with his teeth. They have a thick warm winter coat to keep them warm through harsh cold winters.

Winter Creek Waterfall Landscape Scene

Scenic Winter Waterfall Scene

Standing on the side of this steep hill taking a picture of this roaring waterfall during a winter snow storm in late January. My son and I cleared trees and made our way through to this area during a snow storm so we could see these beautiful waterfalls during the winter snow storm. This is one of the largest waterfalls on this creek which pours into the New River Gorge.

Spring Azalea Flowers in a Dream

Azalea Flower Picture from a soft dream. These azaleas are from a flower garden in the spring time. The light purple color is unique to these types of azaleas and is rarely seen in other azalea flower beds in our area. The soft contrast and soft color effect give this flower picture a dreamy effect.

Black Bears sleeping next to a tree in a winter snow storm. They are covered with snow and realize that it is better to keep close in order to stay the warmest. These bears have thick coats of fur and a lot of fat to help keep them warm also through harsh cold winter.

Bull Elk Antler Sparing for Dominance in their herd. The larger Bull Elk is certainly winning in this contest for who is strongest and deserves the right to rule the herd. This is a common occurrence when the female and male Elk are in rut.

Otter Sliding Look Around

An otter sliding in the snow then he looks around. He knows someone is watching him but he is having fun playing in the snow anyway. These animals are very funny and remind me of a seal.

West Virginia Buffalo Winter Snow

This is a buffalo in West Virginia. Compared to the others this one is not as big but nonetheless it is still a pretty large animal. Unfortunately these beautiful animals have been over hunted to near extinction. Another name for these are American Bison. There used to be millions of these animals across the Untied States.

Whitetail Buck Antlers

Beautiful Whitetail Buck Deer with a full set of antlers showing off his best profile shot. This was a very good looking healthy deer which obviously has been eating well. I don’t know if you have ever eaten venison but it is some of the most healthy meat that can be eaten. much better for you than beef.
